Scared, status:
the creature is scared. This status provides negative modifiers.


Secondary, peculiarity:
this peculiarity indicates that the object is suitable to be used as a secondary weapon, along with another weapon that acts as a "main weapon".


Sharp, peculiarity:
this peculiarity, concerning the weapons, means that the object hits with one or more blades with sharpened edge.


Shield, peculiarity:
shields are a special type of defensive weapons that allow to block enemy weapons. Therefore, a shield provides a positive modifier to defense (DEF) and additionally allows some special maneuvers.


Shroud:
the "shroud" is a great deception operated by the Keepers of the Shroud to keep down the number of awakenings between human beings.


Skill:
a character, an awakened or a supernatural creature, possesses skills that belong to one or more disciplines. These allow you to use certain event cards or have other advantages, depending on their power level.


Sleeper:
the vast majority of human beings. The souls of the sleepers are at stake in Ordalia: the harvest fo souls, in fact each awakened seeks actively to corrupt, redeem or put to "sleep" the humans he meets, according to the faction which it belongs.


Snake that swallows the world, symbol:
is the symbol of the Legions of the Apocalypse, formed by the two glyphs called snake and world. Represents a serpent rampant that is swallowing the world.


Snake, gliph:
part of the symbol of the Legions of the Apocalypse, the snake that swallows the world, together with the world. Represents the serpent rampant except the jaw.


Special (S), type of maneuver:
maneuvers that fall under this category are actually breaks, or situations in which the fighter concentrates. Are not attacks or defenses.


Speed (SPD), characteristic:
the speed of movement and reaction of an archetype (and therefore of a character). In the melee a fighter who strikes the opponent very quickly, can prevent him from hitting in turn.


Status:
status or situation in which there is a creature. Each active status is identified by a dedicated icon.


Strength (STR), characteristic:
the physical force of an archetype (and therefore of a character), change the amount of the wounds inflicted in melee combat.


Strike High (SH), type of maneuver:
all maneuvers that fall under this category are side strikes aimed at the upper body.


Strike Low (SL), type of maneuver:
all maneuvers that fall under this category are side strikes aimed at the lower body.


Stunned, status:
the creature is stunned. This status provides negative modifiers.


Suffocating, status:
the creature is choking. This status provides negative modifiers.


Supernatural creature:
indicates, in general, any creature with otherworldly powers, but normally are those creatures that inhabit the Land of Dreams. All those creatures who have supernatural powers but are not awakened.


Supreme Tactician, discipline:
the skills included in this discipline, have the goal of controlling the duel by a skilful use of the battlefield and of unusual tactics.


Sweeping, peculiarity:
this peculiarity, concerning the weapons, means that the object is long and balanced enough to bring broad sweeps without unbalancing the user.


Swift, peculiarity:
this peculiarity, concerning the weapons, means that the object is lightweight and built to take rapid strokes in succession.
